The Training and Placement Cell is committed to fulfilling the dreams of all those who graduate from IEC. The Cell believes in overall development of the students’ personality, which will help them to achieve a rewarding career. The students are provided the platform for developing interpersonal, technical, and business skills, so that they can face the global challenge. The various skills are developed through group discussions, mock interviews, quizzes, paper presentation. In addition, special invited lectures are organized for all advanced industry-relevant subjects.

The success of the Placement Cell is evident from our alumni occupying positions at the best employer companies in the country. The Placement cell constantly keeps in touch with the Industry to be alert to technology advancement, and plans well in advance for bridging the gap between industry and academics. Strong Industry-Institute interaction, the motto of IEC, is the most essential element moulding graduates as industry adaptable products. The institute is associated with many industries like LG Electronics, Moserbaer, IIHT Ltd, UTL Technologies, Motorola, ST Microelectronics, Schenck Avery etc making the following fruitful :

• Industrial Training Every student undergoes Industrial Training for a duration of 8 weeks. This helps them in honing what they have learnt in their curriculum as well as getting the feel of what is expected of them at the Industry level.

• Expert Lectures Topics are identified according to the current scenario and experts from industry and R&D organizations deliver lecture on these selected topics. Experts from Motorola, ST Microelectronics, Moserbaer, UTL Technologies, Tico are    regularly giving lectures on topics of interest.

• Live Projects Many of our students are given are opportunity at nearby industries to carry out live projects.

• Industrial Visits Industrial visits are organized regularly for all disciplines in their relevant fields respectively Doordarshan  Kendra, BHEL, ITI Ltd , LG Electronics, Moserbaer, Schenck Avery, IT Solution, Interra IT, Maruti Udyog Ltd, Honda Ciel, Minda HUP, NTPC , IIHT , YAMAHA Ltd are some of the companies the students have visited during this session.

• Pre – Placement The students’ data bank for placement is prepared in the pre final year. The students are trained to prepare    their CV, and practice for job interview through pre-placement training programme.
